Is regular attendance required?
No, you are welcome to participate as often as your schedule permits.
What do I get for my membership?

Are you expected to provide leads at every meeting?
JBA
has no requirements for sharing leads. You may provide referrals to
other members who may support you in the same way. Our lunches and
other events are designed to promote networking and relationship
building.
How can I promote my business at the meetings?
All
event attendees are given 30 seconds to introduce themselves and their
businesses. Individual members are invited to speak for 10 minutes at
a networking lunch or breakfast once a year.
What occurs at a particular meeting?
Those
attending give 30-second introductions, a JBA member speaks for 10
minutes or there is a guest speaker, and participants network among
themselves. And we eat!
Are there any networking events outside of the monthly meetings?
JBA schedules quarterly evening networking events and other activities periodically.
How often does the group meet? When and what time?
Monthly networking events occur:
- The second Wednesday of
each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Robert E. Loup Jewish
Community Center, 350 S. Dahlia, Denver.
- The fourth Tuesday of each month from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Deli Tech, 8101 East Belleview Ave., Denver.
Can you have more than one member of the same profession?
Yes. There are no restrictions by profession.
How long has the group been in existence?
Since 1994.
What is your policy on visiting the group before joining to see if I like it?
JBA
encourages visitors, who pay the lower member rate for the first
two visits. JBA also pays for the first lunch for those who join on the
first visit.
Can I bring a guest at any time?
Yes. We do encourage RSVPs.
What is the business profile of the members?
Our members represent a broad spectrum of the business community, from sole proprietors to larger companies.
Can you join if you are currently unemployed?
Yes.
Job seekers and career changers always benefit from networking, and may
find excellent information and contacts at our meetings.
How much does it cost to join?
After July 1, 2004, membership is $125 annually per business.
What should I wear to a JBA luncheon?
Business attire, either casual or formal, is acceptable.
What should I bring to a JBA event?
We suggest bringing business cards and any promotional items such as brochures.
